Cheongsam

Cheongsam is the traditional dress for the Chinese ladies in Malaysia. It is graceful and body-hugging fit, showing every detail of the curves on the wearer's body.Hence it demands that the wearer must have a good figure in order to look graceful in it,otherwise the opposite effect will result.
The fabric used for tailoring a cheongsam is silk which is soft and smooth to the touch. The soft material is comfortable and hugs the body gently bringing out the contours of the body of the wearer.
A Cheongsam on a truely oriental feminine body is "just like a second layer of skin on her".
The cheongsam are generally for special occasions like weddings or functions. But most Chinese restaurants in Malaysia like to choose cheongsam as the uniform for their female workers who serve at the tables as a way to attract customers.
